ERP Implementation

Every organization is different. As such, we do not take a “cookie cutter” approach to implementation. Our methodology is custom tailored to capitalize on the unique strengths of your resources.

When you replace your ERP software, you are ripping out an old system and installing a new one—while continuing to operate and grow. At Adams, we conduct this massive undertaking in two parallel phases:

  • Prepare the organization for implementation.

    Large organization or small, the implementation will change things. Radically. Most employees will be frightened by this change. Success in this phase will maximize a smooth transition to your new system, minimize pushback from employees, and result in cooperation that otherwise would have been absent.

    During implementation, Adams Automation will work with you to develop an effective leadership strategy. We’ll help create a vision for the project. We’ll help communicate it to your employees. We’ll help construct an ongoing communication loop to keep employees informed of the progress and direction of the project, and keep the ERP team knowledgeable of their issues and concerns.

  • Prepare the implementation for the organization.

    This is the traditional aspect of an ERP implementation, where the rubber meets the road. This phase includes training, business process creation and documentation, data conversion and programming, piloting, etc.

    We build a team, define the project scope, set goals and priorities and rapidly march the project to Go-Live. We use agile project management techniques to deftly respond to the changing conditions of your corporate environment.

When followed, our methodology is proven to bring projects in both on time and within budget.
